Let's start with.... BOOKS!

SO, one thing that everyone should know is that I love reading and BOOKS! SO THESE ARE MY FAVORITE AUTHORS! They are amazing and I can never decide on just one favorite so here is my list! (These are in no particular order)

1. Jennifer A. Nielson. The main books that I've read from her are either historical fiction or fantasy, but either way, they're perfect.

2. Rick Riordan. OBVIOUSLY! Everyone should've suspected that he would be in here. Known for fantasy and.... well, the mythology of course.

3. Shannon Messenger. Alright. I have only read one book series from her and I don't know whether she has anymore, but I REALLY love Keeper of The Lost Cities (KOTLC). It's FANTASY and totally amazing!

(I'm just adding this in here, I WON'T be including Harry Potter in here, even though it is a good series. I have just read it SO many times and I'm sure everyone knows about it.)

4. Chris Colfer. He's written a few fantasy series about fairytale worlds and they are SO awesome. I love Land of Stories and Tale of Magic. His fairytales pull me in even more than the originals!

5. Padma Venkatraman. As far as I know, she only has 2 books, but they are really great! They're realistic fiction stories, usually involving real issues like homelessness and abuse. Her stories are heart-touching.

6. Roshani Chokshi. If you have never heard of her, you're really missing out. Her series, Aru Shah, was a Rick Riordan Presents book (I'll explain that after this) and her other series are pretty amazing too.

Ok so, Rick Riordan Presents books are mythology books from many different cultures, all edited by Rick himself! All of them are REALLY AWESOME, although I can't say I've read all of them.

7. Gordon Korman. Alright, I want to say that I've been reading his books since second grade and I STILL love them now. He is one of the ONLY authors I have ever read for ALL AGES! His stories are AMAZING! (Usually realistic fiction and/or fantasy)

8. Sayantani Dasgupta. WELL. We have another Indian mythology fantasy writer, but I swear, her books are amazing too. She recently started a new series that I love! I hate that we have to wait a year for new books. I mean, ARE THEY TRYING TO TORTURE US???

9. WE ARE NEARING THE END. Stick with me here. Alan Gratz. He writes realistic fiction and historical fiction. In fact, I love all of his books about World War II and I used them a lot while I was researching it for a project. Heh.....Don't tell my teachers.

10. LAST, BUT CERTAINLY NOT LEAST, DRUM ROLL PLEASE... TUI T. SUTHERLAND. Yep, it's the one and only author of Wing of Fire (WoF). This is one of my personal favorites and an AMAZING author. Obviously, she writes fantasy.

11-- Or maybe not. UGH, I WANT TO KEEP GOING! But if I do, I know I'm going to stay up all night writing this and that I will NEVER run out of awesome authors. I hope you people enjoy reading this because I really enjoyed writing it. Next time you're at a library, maybe check out these ABSOLUTELY AMAZING authors.

Signing off, (and saying good night if it's night at your place,) Savi
